TIMBAVATI PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve forms part of a group of nature reserves on the western boundary of the Kruger National Park. Since its formation in the 1950’s, the Timbavati Association has increased its conservation minded landowners to 50 members. In the 1990’s, in recognition of the importance of the area, the fences between Timbavati Reserve and the Kruger National Park were removed to encourage the natural migration of hundreds of species and ensuring guests who visit view the greatest diversity of wildlife that Africa has to offer.

SABI SANDS GAME RESERVE
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is the Rolls Royce of Game Reserves. The reserve was founded in 1934 and is the oldest private reserve in South Africa. MADIKWE GAME RESERVE
Madikwe Game Reserve is a part of the latest park developments in South Africa. It was opened in 1991 and comprises 750km² of bush land close to the Botswana border. It is currently the fifth largest game reserve in South Africa and yet not widely known. The terrain is mainly open grasslands and bushveld plains, interspersed with rocky outcrops and single mountains. Madikwe has been regarded as one of the better conservation malaria-free zone areas in Africa, offering all the major species, including lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, both white and black rhino along with almost all the plains antelope species.
A special feature of Madikwe lies in its unique location, a transition zone on the edges of the Kalahari, where a number of rare species occur naturally, and the bushveld. The climate is generally mild to hot, but winter nights can be cold. Over 350 species of birds have been recorded at Madikwe. It is the only place in Africa where Springbok and Kalahari Gemsbok meet naturally.
MADIKWE HILLS
Set on a hill amongst the huge boulders and age old Tamboti trees, overlooking the endless bushveld, the lodge offers 8 ultra-luxurious suites complete with their own patio and private plunge pool, placed against the boulders. The décor integrates natural elements with colours highlighting Africa’s ambience.

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
The Kruger National Park was established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, over nearly 2 million hectares. Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. Man’s interaction with the Lowveld environment over many centuries - from bushman rock paintings to majestic archaeological sites like Masorini and Thulamela - is very evident in the Kruger National Park. These treasures represent the cultures, persons and events that played a role in the history of the Kruger National Park and are conserved along with the park’s natural assets.
THE OUTPOST
The Outpost's awarded architecture accommodates 24 guests in 12 stand-alone luxury spaces cantilevered over the Luvuvhu river valley – connected to the central lodge area by a raised walkway.
